I got the Johnsonville Sausage Griller as a gift for Christmas last year and although I've used maybe 6 times already, I really like it.

It cooks the sausage fast, tastes like it's been grilled and the fat drips into the tray.

So if you know someone who has everything on this planet, they probably don't have a Johnsonville Sausage Griller.

Where was it purchased from? QVC? This sounds like something I would enjoy. I love brats and sausages of all kinds!

@cookinfreak   I found it on the big "A" web site.  Hopefully, those who use the Johnsonville brat grill, will thoroughly enjoy it!  It's not our cup of tea (we don't need it) in my family, but I'm glad others might find it useful.  :-)

I noticed Walmart is advertising them online and Home Depot also.

Does it crisp the skin?

Re: Sausage Grill

[ Edited ]

The grill does a wonderful job, the skin is brown and crisp.

You can put any brand of sausages in there, doesn't have to be Johnsonville.  I've cooked italians and brats, fast and to perfection!

@Mistreatedbycs  I haven't seen it at those places yet, but I've seen it in the Mills Fleet Farm weekly ads and on their web site (MFF is a Midwestern chain of stores.).  Forgot to mention that in my previous post.  The grill was listed at the same price as mentioned earlier, $79.99.

With the cost of beef so high right now we are eating a lot more pork - sausage and pork chops. I now make all my pasta sauce with sausage. Actually sausage flavors tomato sauce much nicer than ground beef.

I have never been a big sausage fan because it is hard to find it that is really lean.  I know lots of people love them though.
