Although I make most of my salads, every week I order a few of the pre- made ones. They are convenient and tasty. My current favorite is the Taylor Farms apple and walnut salad. It has chicken ,walnuts,, apples, cranberries, carrots, blue cheese and a sweet onion vinaigrette.  If you are a fan of these salads , do you have a favorite ?

Taylor Farms chipotle salad from Costco (the one from Costco is better than Sam's Club and it's a little different). I add tomatoes and extra chipotle ranch dressing (the packet included is not enough). I usually also add more shredded cheese and additional tortilla strips that I buy at Publix. I also add black course pepper

I don't buy any premade salads.  We regularly eat entree sized salads with a protein as a meal but I make them myself.  DH likes a basic salad.  I like more enhancements in mine.

I too like to make my own salads, I keep a container of greens in a tupperware container and then just pull a serving out as needed. I usually add tomatoes, cukes, black olives, chopped mini peppers, radishes, shredded cheese, chicken or whatever meat I have in the fridge, anything that I have on hand.

I also like to make my own salads with romaine lettuce and any of the following: cucumbers, radishes, tomatoes, red onion, green olives, croutons, cheese, and hard boiled eggs. Once in a great while I will buy the bagged salad if I am in a hurry.

We make our own salads too.  Costco has wonderful small heads of romaine lettuce and their spring mix is very fresh.  We also like to add fruit to the usual--peaches, pears.  And Costco's balsamic vinegar (organic if I remember) is excellent on salads with a touch of olive oil!

And a mixed green salad with tuna and tart/sweet apples is always a favorite lunch here.

About twice a week, I make a tub of salad with the help of my food processor.  I eat a salad at least once a day.

I occasionally I will buy a bagged salad if we are camping.  I like the Asian salads with almonds and ginger dressing.
