My fave is balsamic vinegar--have one infused with cherries right now , and a little olive oil with a tiny sprinkle of sea salt and cracked pepper

Banyul's Vinegar or Sherry Vinegar and lemon, or any of the above. I often use lemon alone. I don't even use oil any more.
Celtic gray salt is good too. Salads need a little salt. I love the fine gray sea salts on salads, popcorn, anything top dressed with salt. Especially watermelon!

@goldensrbest We've been to the Stonewall Kitchen store in York, Maine. It's very cool. Lots of nice products. Visited there on our trip to my favorite lighthouse. Nubble Lighthouse.. I even check it out on the live cam at different times of the year. DW

Hummus. Red Wine Vinegar if I don't have Hummus
My favorite salad which I make for lunch quite often - cucumbers as the base instead of lettuce, chick peas, bell pepper, kidney beans, chicken or other protein if I have leftovers. I use Hummus as a dressing of sorts. So refreshing and filling.

@goldensrbest My husband orders it on Amazon. It used to be a 4% Cherry Balsamic but it was acquired by Stonewall Kitchen and this is as close to the original that we have found. It is not your normal thin vinegar balsamic. We use it on veggies as well as our salads. Pricey, but worth it.
My husband just looked it up on Amazon for you: Napa Valley Naturals Grand Reserve 4% Balsamic.Vinegar 2 bottles for 24.95 for our order. My husband says it is free shipping now with Amazon Prime. Be sure that you get the 4% acidity not the 6%...makes a huge difference.
We give this as a gift to friends, especially those who share our lifestyle. Every one has enjoyed it as much as we do. Let me know what you think!

Like others have mentioned my favorite is a gourmet vinegar (I'm using a blueberry infused one now) or balsamic vinegar and a good olive oil.
I just drizzle the vinegar then separately drizzle the olive oil on my salad, no need to mix them....easy, good and healthy.
