Waffle Pantry has some in stock for $8.98 for the 1 lb block plus shipping.

Shipping in cart showed $7.99 with USPS or FedEx.

Breadtopia has it for $5.95 plus shipping. When I added to cart to check for my zip code it was around $8 shipping.

I wanted to try the waffle mix so I bought it from the Waffle Pantry.

If you need some yeast these are the best prices I have found with shipping.

Ebay generally has some but I would not order it unless they state the date.

@Nightowlz

Thanks for the heads up. I had some still left from my last order, but I got worried when this situation started to unfold. I imagined myself home with no flour or yeast and started to panic. I ordered the same one you pictured. It's the best, in my unprofessional opinion.

I buy this brand of yeast all of the time.  I store it in the freezer in a jar and it lasts a long, long time.  I always proof it before I use it and make sure it is fresh when I buy it.

I can't believe it is a hard to find item now.  I wonder what people are making with it.

@Carmie

We make all our bread, rolls, hamburger buns etc with it.

I ordered 35 lbs flour from King Arthur. LOL!!! I see a charge on my account pending so it must be shipping soon.

I will have to put the extra in the freezer.

Yes, yeast is difficult to find, but I live in a great neighborhood. Someone just posted on Nextdoor they had extra yeast and all they asked was that we be extra generous at our favorite food bank. So now we have enough yeast for several loaves of bread.

We started this loaf last evening and just finshed baking it. Because I am not a good cook or baker, I am kind of proud. Amazing the things we can do when we have lots of time on our hands with no place to go.😊

@Nightowlz  I went out to King Arthur's website yesterday to buy 00 flour for pasta and they didn't have any flour of any kind at all. Absolutely none.

Last weekend I gave my neighbor 10 lbs of all purpose flour.  They were 100% out of it and it isn't found anywhere around here.  The expiration date is in July, so it needs to be used.

Today, I used most of my 00 flour to make lasagna and spaghetti, and  I only have a few cups left.  I have 2 ten pound bags of Pillsbury all purpose and a couple of five lbs bags of Lilly White baking flour.  I have no whole wheat left.

I also have a few boxes of gluten free flour.

You are lucky you are getting 35 lbs.  I hope it isn't the last you'll find for a while.  It is disappearing off of the shelves.  Even those small boxes of cake flour are gone.

TP is easier to find than flour around here.

Someone posted you could order from King Arthur. I did not order at the time since I already have some. When I did go back to order some they were taking orders for backorder. Now it's just not available. They would only let you order 2 of each type flour. I ordered 2 5 lb bread, 2 10 lb AP & 1 5 lb wheat. I already have some of that plus all wheat white. I have some orgainc Arrowhead Mills AP flour. I also picked up 2 pkgs White Lily bread flour Wal-Mart had online. Never used it before. My freezer is getting full.

Did you take a bite yet. Yum!!! Home made bread is so good.

I never ate any until I was around 20 years old when I was working at Zales. One of the ladies in the office made some. She could not believe I had never ate any. We have been making it since.

We just made french bread Thurs. Ate french toast this morning.

They are selling 1 lb bags of flour at the meat market here. Not sure of price. I do know he made them from a 50 lb bag of flour.
