Has anyone tried these storage containers for their Produce?  They are the absolute best item to hit the shelves.  I usually buy the 1 lb. Pkg of baby salad greens and they never last.  The greens always get funky and I end up throwing the greens out.  Then Amz dot Com has these as a lightning deal for $20.  Included were 2 large and 1 medium container.  As a test, I dated when I stored the lettuce.  No kidding, I bought 1 lb. of the baby lettuce on July 18 and finished it Saturday night.  That's 18 days and it was still fresh as day 1.  Same results for grape tomatoes in the smaller container and I still have some left.  So if you'll on the fence, jump off and give them a try.

A few posters were kicking these around a few days ago - here:

I saw them at WalMart yesterday and the set of 3 various sizes was around $20. I passed on them but am giving serious thought to buying at least one to try out eventually.

No apology necessary.

I'd never heard of them and suddenly there are 2 threads about them!

I just bought a set of these from Amazon and put some strawberries in one last night.  Examining the containers, I don't see anything special about them but we'll see how well the berries do.

I absolutely love the Freshworks containers.    I have many of them in all the various sizes.     They really do keep your produce and fruit fresher for a long time.

I have guinea pigs, and for anyone who has ever owned a GP you know how much lettuce and other veggies they go through.    With the Freshworks I can purchase their veggies for a week and not have to make frequent shopping trips for my girls.

I also love them for our produce.    Our strawberries and blueberries last so much longer than leaving them in the container they come in.

The initial purchase of them may seem expensive but you will save money in the long run by not having to throw away that lettuce or those costly berries.

I'm the OP of the other thread and let me tell you, they work far better than the Debbie Meyer green bags and containers.  I've got packaged spring salad mix in one and strawberries in another.  Both have been in the containers for about 10 days or so and are still fresh - no shrivelled up berries and no slimey pieces of lettuce or spinach.  I'm really impressed and plan to buy a few more.
