Roasted Chestnuts - YUM ------NOT from China!

We bought roasted chestnuts from Target yesterday. I thought YUM! Then today I saw on the bag "product of China". No way! Returned them to Target and told clerk we just couldn't eat food from China. She said "I don't blame you".

How on earth are we importing chestnuts from China? There must be millions of chestnut trees in USA. Just where is this going to end?
