I remember driving past a church in recent years that had a huge sign advertising a yard sale where everything was free! I am glad you weren't wasteful in this instance.

perfect advise, vabreeze! so many people these days are much worse off than others & donating them to a church, organization, etc. would be such a help instead of "burning" them!

I very seldom throw anything in the garbage if it is useable. I also donate to St. Vincent, Salvation Army, etc.

Normally, I'd agree with ya'll about donating (boy, have I got a pile on my kitchen table to go to the local hospice resale store!), but from what I understand, these measuring spoons were silly, "vanity" spoons showing "a pinch", "a tad", etc. that doesn't even give you a real measurement. I'd throw them out, too.
