I was sitting here "chewing" on some celery and got to thinking about my Mother.

The two (2) things in life she enjoyed eating was York Peppermint Patties and celery. Yes, celery.

Anyway. she would put peanut butter on her celery. I eat celery not because I like it but once in a while I feel the need to snack on something that my mind thinks is healthy.

Never did understand her like of celery. To me it has no taste.

When you choose celery and carrots as a snack how do you usually eat them? Plain? Dip? Topping?

Carrots would be ranch dressing, onion dip or au natural.  Celery would be peanut butter, just like your mom!  I don’t do Peppermint Patties, but I could!

For celery, peanut butter, like my mom. Smiley Happy

I also love it just by itself, especially the tiny ones on the inside. I like carrots just by themselves or with ranch or thousand island.

I add it  to a green salad for crunch. Celery always tastes salty to me. 🤷‍♀️

@Sheila P-Burg -

Those are actually two of my favorite things to eat!

I like celery plain, or with cream cheese, or in anything chopped up, like tuna fish, or salads.

It's just so crunchy and refreshing and kind of sweet pungent.

And york peppermint patties are so soothing!

Carrots by themselves or with ranch dressing or a chip dip. Celery (inside pieces) with salt or pimento spread. I love the cold and crunchy taste of both carrots and celery - radishes too!
