@ECBG I remember these! My mom had a few small pieces (not plates) and sadly over the years they got broken. I remember small little dish that I loved, wish I still had it.

These, or pieces like them, were made in one of the potteries in Zanesville, Ohio, where we visited our in-laws from the '50's on.  I still have a plate (one which a plant stands, could it really be valuable?) and two tea pots of different sizes.

Sounds like McCoy pottery. McCoy was in Roseville OH, about 20 min from Zanesville.

Do some research as some McCoy pieces were marked McCoy on the bottom. Some have no stamp but are genuine McCoy.

As others said, you might be able to get pricing ideas from ebay or Replacements. Replacements may be able to research your piece if you send them a photo.

My dad brought several pieces of this stuff home from the furniture store in the early 60’s; we gained a lot of nice pieces that had been used for staging with dining room sets.   

Mom had 4 coffee mugs, and a tea pot with a wire handle, shaped like a goose.   The teapot stayed in the kitchen window for years.

That is so funny you posted this pic. I was watching Rachel Rachel movie today and they were drinking out of a cup. When I worked for Safeway in the 70's we sold them at the store when they sold dishes back in the day. I had some too.

Yes, I do remember them.  I never owned them but I thought they were rather cute --- very rustic.

I always loved those.  Seeing them always brings a smile to my face.  One of my best friend's mother had those and would make the tastiest oxtail soup and hot chocolate in the winter.  Eating there was special.  I had a mug for many years until it fell and broke.

Yes I remember them! I had gotten a set of soup bowls with  lids for a shower gift so many years ago.  I wonder what happened to it?  Now I'm curious to see if it's been stored up high in a cabinet that I rarely go into or if I got rid of them years ago.
