I just (now, late I know) decided I wanted to taste Green Goddess salad dressing which isn't in our store, but the Kraft brand is on amazon. Looking for shallot vinegar....
I looked up the original recipe and would like to know what brand of this item you preferred.
Many thanks.

I have tried many and have not found a single one that tastes like true Green Goddess!
Have you tried a local Greek Diner that might sell you some? They have THE BEST.
Also easy to make if you are into that!! Sooo good right???

@ECBG I make my own. It's easy you should try it.

Like you, my mother loves the original Kraft Green Goddess salad dressing! After much searching, even on Amazon which seemed too costly, I finally found it at Publix where she lives in Tennessee! I bought her several bottles which should last awhile when on one of my visits to see my parents. She was ecstatic! And Publix was much more reasonable that what Amazon is charging.
I do hope you both have a Publix near you. Or perhaps a relative or friend with that grocer near them that they can get it for you!?

Like the ladies @ECBG and @tessam above posted about their Kraft GG brand preference, I love the Kraft Russian dressing. They discontinued selling it in the United States. Hubby and I have to make a run to the border in Canada, when we get close up north, to buy Walmart or a grocer out of the stuff. The closest in taste we can find here in the states is Kraft sweet honey catalina.
Do you make your own Russian dressing per chance? I don't care for the Russian dressings that taste like Thousand Island, such as Ken's.

@simplyfriends Thank you for posting this recipe. I've never thought about making it but I will now. Recipe looks so good.

Green Goddess was my husbands favorite. Can't find the good stuff around here. I bought some that was a different brand but not the same.
We just talked about that the other day.

Yes I remember Green Goddess from way back.
It fell off the radar the same time Creamy Italian disappeared. The yellow creamy Italian, not the white color. Not the same.
We wouldn't eat it fast enough to make our own.

I've never tasted it. It seems to be making a come back, though. I noticed several outlets and resturants menus showing sandwiches with Green Goddess dressing as a condiment.
