Does Your Husband Cook or Help Out with the Meals?

I have always loved to cook but I don't enjoy it as much as I used to. My husband has started taking over much of the cooking in the last couple of years and I must say I am loving it. He seems to really enjoy it. Yay!

Does your husband/boyfriend help out with the cooking?

No......I sure wish he would though. He cooked for me these elaborate meals.....BEFORE we got married. 😁

I retired when he was still working so I did all the cooking for a bit. Then he passed, so I just cook for me mostly. The grand kids do one night a week for all of us. Then I recover and clean the kitchen the next day 😂

Yes, my husband helps with cooking, cleanup, shopping and meal planning. He never complains about it...just helps me. Always has been like that since we first started dating. His momma put good manners on all her boys.

Throughout our marriage my husband has cooked. He enjoys it. It is fine with me and I must say he is a very good cook!!!! I do the cleaning up after though!

Yes, and has for all 48+ years of our marriage. He also washed dishes, dusted, vacuumed, changed bed sheets, and did laundry, except for my work clothes. His mother made sure her boys knew how to do more than mow grass. In high school my husband made breakfast every morning for his siblings.

Due to declining health, and inability to stand for long periods, he is no longer able to do many of the chores above except wash dishes (he absolutely loves this and we don't have that many) and on weekends he will cook the breakfast meat. A few times a year he will make waffles for us.

No, not really. My husband can cook some things like hot dogs and hamburgers and he does make good chicken wings. After that it's oatmeal, scrambled eggs and rice a roni. He does help with the dishes though.
