I just want to share how I refill k-cups with my favorite coffees. It's very simple and saves a lot of money. In my house we go through over 30 a week...4 adults. I love the fresh taste and convenience of the Keurig over making a pot of coffee but it was getting very expensive. I've tried the my k-cup...bad bad bad! Here's how I do it. Take off the foil lid and empty out the used coffee, there is a paper filter in the cup so be careful not to rip it, although it is very durable. Rinse out all the remaining coffee under running water. Let dry completely, I let them dry overnight. Take heavy duty aluminum foil, I fold it like an according because I do so many at a time, then trace a circle shape about 2 5/8 inches, I used a drinking glass, works great. Cut out the circles. Fill each k-cup with coffee, I use 2 tablespoons each, cover with the foil and crimp the foil under the lip of the k-cup with your finger and thumb. I will not leak if you make sure the foil is under the lip not down the side of the cup. When you put it in the Keurig just turn the k-cup until you feel it drop into the hole that is already in the bottom of the cup this way your not making another hole. That's it. I fill about 30 in 20 mins...it's worth it to me.
