There are so many!  Just about ever shopping channel chef has one to sell, Emril, Wolfgang, Paula Deen, Todd English, Ming Tsia and on and on.......  Then you have Cook's Essential, Phillips.  I don't know which to chose.

Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.

Re: Recs for Air Fryers.....

I'm sticking with my countertop convection oven. But I have one friend with a CE model who is very happy with it.

I'd consider its cooking capacity, footprint on the counter as some are huge.  To me the color was also important.  Otherwise they all see to be about the same.  Some are digital, some manual.

I have a Phillips Air Fryer

  • Avance XL Digital Airfryer, Black
  • Model #HD9240/92.
  • I  have  owned for a year and enjoy using. There is plenty of information about buying Air Fryer online.

Re: Recs for Air Fryers.....

I had ordered the Cooks Essentials 5.3 qt. when it was a TSV - ordered several actually to give as Christmas gifts.  Then posts started coming through about difficulties with the drawer and the very short warranty period.  I had buyer's regret and returned them, then opted to purchase the Paula Deen 1700 watt, 5.3 qt. instead.  I haven't used mine a ton yet, but have no complaints at this point.  My DD has used hers more and they're really happy with it.  There was some discussion on the copper flaking off of the pans/accessories, but I followed the instructions to "bake" everything w/o food, for 20 mins. and haven't had an issue.

Re: Recs for Air Fryers.....

I have a smaller Cook's Essential and liked it so much I got a large Phillips and like that one also.  Now some have ceramic baskets which seem much better than the wire ones for cleanup.
