Recommendations For The Best Tasting Green Tea At The Supermarket

There are so many I don't want to buy a lot of them to try and not like them. It just doesn't have to be plain green tea it can have other flavors with it. Thats why it is so confusing. Any help would be appreciated.

For plain green tea I like Salada. I also like the purple antioxidants and red antioxidants Salada green teas.

I like the Tazo Zen green tea the best. It's smooth, taste good, and IMO doesn't need any sugar added to it. Good luck!

Jasmine green tea (any brand) will be the best tadting.

I buy Mighty Leaf Spring Jasmine Green Tea bags and Ito En jasmine green tea in bottles for iced tea.

I just answered on the other thread about how to make the perfect cup of green tea. It isn't the brand; it's how you make it. Also, what flavors you, yourself prefer.

Lipton Blueberry Acai is one of my favorites, but I also love Harney's. (I don't care for Salada's black, and I never had their green.)

This is by far my favorite, too, but I do like a little sugar in it. It has the perfect amount of lemongrass and spearmint. I get the big tea bags and make it into pitchers of iced tea, too.

I am drinking 5-6 cups of green tea a day as per my naturopathic oncologist. It's Bigelow tea and I make it into ice tea but I add 1 or 2 bags of Celestial Seasonings Fruit Tea with it and it is delicious!! Not a fan of straight green tea but by adding a fruit tea to it, it turns out so good! Also, FYI, my dr said to let the green tea steep over night to get the very most antioxidants out of it. I don't use any sweetener in it either. I buy the green tea in bulk from Amazon and Bigelow had more tea for the money. .

Hands down, the best tasting, as well as containing the most superior levels of antioxidants, esp. EGCG, is "Good Earth Super Green Tea", because it contains matcha, sencha and has orange flavor. Used to find this flavor at almost any grocery store that carried Good Earth brand, but as of 2 yrs. ago can only find it at Lucky's Super Market here on the west coast. Whole Foods used to carry it, but don't know if they still do.
