I can't believe mine came so fast today. I have a couple of questions.

1. I can't find the salmon recipe. The lady showed salmon every presentation and talked about how it was her favorite lunch. That was the main thing I wanted to cook in it. I can't find the recipe in the booklet that came with the pan. It is also not among the ones on the website. Do any of you know where I can find it.

2. Also, it talks about cleaning the product with warm water. Can't I use soap. If not .....yuck!

Found this on the Rangemate site. It just says not to submerge the unit in water. I see no reason why you cannot use a little soap to clean it with.

Salmon with Pesto and Rice

Ingredients

1 5 oz. piece salmon fillet
1 tsp. vegetable oil
1 cup cooked rice
2 Tb. prepared pesto sauce

How to make

Place the salmon and oil in the Range Mate pot and cook for 4 minutes turning once. Spoon the rice onto a serving plate and transfer the salmon on top of the rice. Spoon the pesto over the salmon and serve.

I am not crazy about salmon. My daughter is, Look at the glazed salmon recipe. I might like that.

No seasoning, just served plain over cooked rice and some pesto sauce?

You don't need a rangemate to do that, same effect with a piece of salmon and use a microwave dish.

...and who eats a whole cup of cooked rice...that's a lot.

You're kidding....right? Have you ever had pesto on salmon? It's amazing! And it's a cup of cooked rice, not exactly glutton territory
