It's so frustrating that QVC would ship a slow cooker, which is expensive to ship and return, without checking to ensure it's not damaged. I received the new Temp-tations slow cooker, and there is a dent in the metal trim on the lid. It was packaged very securely, and arrived with no damage to the box, so it must have been damaged before it was shipped. The dent is obvious, and I won't pay for damaged goods, so it's being returned for an exchange. What a waste of shipping costs on QVC's part. Are there people who just accept damaged goods and don't return them? Either they were hoping that was the case or the person who packaged it was extremely careless. Quality control was absent on this one.
