We keep frozen pre-cooked Angus burgers from Costco that we can heat up for a quick. spur of the moment meal. Therefore, I never cook up more burgers than we plan to eat at one meal. I usually buy 1+lb of meat and divide it into patties and then freeze the two extra patties for the next time. Most of the time, I'm the only one who eats any leftovers anyways.

i would have grilled the Rastelli and Angus burgers for bite to bite comparison. we always cook once, eat twice. consider that our fast food meal. i have not tried the Rastelli nor do i plan to order them. i do prefer Angus beef to other store options.

I'm with you. Love my burgers, but they have to be fresh grilled.

My dh and I enjoy leftovers fo all kinds, so it would be no issue for me at all. I don't just love to cook, its great to have something we can just pop in the microwave and eat.

I'm fussy about my meat, and hate burgers reheated. They taste like garbage to me, no matter how you do them, so I'm on your side
My husband however will microwave meat till it is rubber and happily chew away, so I let him do his thing, as long as precooked meat isn't wasted.
But you are right, these burgers are a fortune, and I would be saving them for first time cooking/eating experiences as well.

There is a simple solution. Take the left over burgers out of the refrigerator about 20 minutes before you reheat them. It doesn't take as long to reheat. Put them on a microwave safe plate and cover with a paper towel for 30 seconds. They are as good as the day you grilled them.

Stop thinking about it.

To spend that kind of money on anything and put it in the microwave is a sacrilege.

@toria - I don't think you're being ridiculous—you're as welcome to your opinion as your husband is to his, and I totally understand the desire to make your food turn out the best it can, especially for items that are more of an investment. If he doesn't mind eating microwave burgers, I guess you might as well let him and make your life less stressful. Do you happen to have an air fryer? If so, use that to reheat your burgers; it will help to bring back at least a little bit of the crispy exterior. I actually cook our burgers and steaks in the air fryer about 90% of the time now because the results are great; we only grill if we're hosting a big group.

You are not being ridiculous. You want to experience this special beef the way it should be enjoyed. . . hot off the grill. If you really love it and tomorrow the product suffers from reheating you will not get the full enjoyment of this purchase. I'm not suggesting you fight over this with your husband, but I am suggesting you are not wrong wanting it the way you like it. Again, you are not being ridiculous, and I think that's what might have gotten you hot, him suggesting you are, not just reheated beef.
