No ice pack. Should these be pitched out or can they be frozen?

Many, many Rastelli's orders here. No ice is common but they should still be cold/frozen.
If you're hesitant, toss and call CS for a refund or replacement.
Was this the filet mignon TSV?

Thanks I just called and they said to pitch them. They will send replacement next week. Hoping they arrive at least semi frozen.

Semi frozen is not good enough. If they are not rock solid hard, they need to be tossed.

I ordered just once from Rastelli's. It was the Breaded Pork Ribeyes. There was no ice left, and because they weren't individually wrapped, they were stuck together. Never again.
QVC's Customer Service was great, but Rastelli's leaves much to be desired.

I ordered a prime rib from them, it was the first time I had seen Rastellis offer it, several years ago. I am still awaiting its arrival. I have never ordered from them again. I did order Chef Curtis Stone's meats twice, they were a subscription order they were fine but the last box I got was from Rastelli's. . . I cancelled the rest of the shipments.

I received Faroe Island salmon as a gift and it was thoroughly defrosted with no ice pack. Egg Harbor's salmon is vacuum packed and should never be thawed unless seal is broken because in anaerobic conditions, salmon is at risk for botulism contamination. Also, always thaw at optimal temperatures in refrigerator, or under cold running water 40 degrees at most. So......this salmon that arrives thawed is at risk for botulism growth x2.

half of my salmon always comes in defrosted. Will not buy from them anymore. Try Curtis stone salmon. Comes in better.
