Since there are people who love to experiment and go off on their own I thought it would be fun to post our misses too in this thread so we can all learn from them.
Mine was that I added about a cup of water to the pan and added the muffin insert. I put a slice of deli ham in two wells forming sort of a cup. On top of that I used a slice of pepper jack cheese also trying to conform it to the well. I dropped an egg into each and nuked it for about 12 minutes for a 700 watt oven. Well...it all looked good going in, but when removed the cheese had disappeared and their was liquid and pieces of egg in water at the bottom of the cup. They still tasted good, but not what I had in mind.
It worked better the first time with beaten eggs and pieces of ham and cheese dropped in before cooking. I forgot the eggs needed so much time to cook and the cheese is too runny when cooked that long.

Two misses so far - one was adding a bit too much olive oil that you toss the vegetables in for grilling. They didn't brown, they kinda steamed. Less oil browns them nicely. I marinated boneless chicken breasts then grilled them but couldn't get grill marks on them, I think too much of the marinade was still on them. But they were still very good.

Successfully seared a single NY strip in mine, but tried wedging two in last night. Not so good - they steamed rather than seared. But live and learn! (950 watt oven).
I'm finding it takes very little oil. I need to get my behind shopping so I can experiment some more with veggies...and try the flan!

Oh dear! You just should have just called them something else...LOL! I made muffins for the first time yesterday in the Rangemate. They came out great! I used a whole wheat & milled flax seed blueberry muffin mix by Hodgson Mills. It's also non GMO and it's good for you. They were nice and dense and not too sweet. It said it made 8 but I got 12 of them with the cups filled pretty high. I used silicone cupcake liners.

Did you preheat the grill first? I'm not able to get anything but gray meat out of it, although it did brown sausage links some. I only have a 700 watt oven though. Adding more time didn't help. I would have gotten a more powerful oven if I knew I was going to buy this, but it's fine for everything esle and I got it mostly for it's smaller size.

Does the feta muffins have flour in them? Maybe the recipe is wrong.
