I had a bad experience with the Temp product----looked like paint by number job for children......BUT.....LOVE Bubble and Brown, and Cucina line, just DO NOT EVER place on glass top stove, due to finish on bottom........
Both are from China, and I have no problem with that.....as it is not animal food.....that I would never buy if China is listed ANYWHERE on the label..........
I do have to say, that RR products, even on sale, and not from here, are not really reduced, as compared to products from here, except S&H........

Regarding the idea that David Venable has had any bearing on who stays and who goes: The only person or people who make executive decisions at a shopping channel are TPTB -- not the hosts, not other vendors, no one but the bigwigs behind the scene.
This is not the schoolyard or some club; it's a multi-million dollar business. All decisions are based on numbers that will benefit the corporation.

I certainly hope not. I always - right or wrong - think of SHOP HQ as the 'cheesy' station.
I love RR's line and after reading this thread and made a quick check for "new" RR products. 12 NEW items came up, so I'm guessing we're not losing her here.

Customer service rep said that they are phasing her line out.

I'll believe it when I see it. Sorry, but CS reps have been repeatedly shown to NOT be in the know on much.

No, it isn't just you.

David V - re: poster - has much to do with it - Tara out of the woodwork.............
Absolutely! David has said Tara is his next door neighbor - so first figure out who has the money to start a dish line - and who would be the up-front person(woman). It's NOT brain surgery!

I've done some searching on other sites where her line is sold and not found the Cucina Rustica stoneware line anywhere else but here. It looks like the full set of round bakers is still available in all the colors, but some of the ancillary pieces seem limited in color choice. I like they way things bake in them - much better than my old Pyrex stuff. Nevertheless, they are decent enough prices and I do want my stuff to coordinate so I'm going to start stocking up in anticipation. The pots and pans, not so much, but the stoneware is very nice.
I'll bet they wanted her to do some additional 'exclusive' products and the deal wasn't good enough for the Rachel Ray folks. Not saying one side or the other is right or wrong, it's all based on the numbers.
More and more limited product lines make the Q more and more boring.

What? I have no clue as to how you are connecting your dots or even what final conclusion you come to.
He's said that she lives nearby and is a friend. Right? So from that, you get to....what? That he and she together figured out a way to make sure that her line pushes every other line out?
Even if there was any logic to such a business relationship, do you even know the time line? Were they friends before she started her company? Or did they meet after she came to QVC?
Humoring these random thoughts, that still won't make a bit of difference to TPTB in terms air time. The CEO cares about one thing and one thing only -- profit.
Does QVC own Temptations or a significant portion of the company? I thought they did. If so, then certainly they want to push it, as long as it's adding to their bottom line, just as they push D&C.
