I really enjoyed watching the show and she and Jane work well together. But there was something emotional going on (I'm not sure what) and Jane grabbed Rachael's hand several times.

The one thing Rachael said that annoyed me (someone noted this above) is when she resorted to adding "This TSV looks like a $1000 set" and the "Bubble and Brown set looks like it costs $600". I own and like several of Rachael's products but really, that kind of hyperbole is not necessary to sell the product.

There is all kinds of scuttlebutt on her marriage, but I trust nothing I read in celeb columns. NOTHING.

My dad used to LOVE LOVE love watching her. He enjoyed eating and the process of cooking. He had all of us kids learn to cook at an early age--he did not spell Mom in making dinner but he encouraged her to become the marvelous cook she became. He did the Chinese cooking and made jam and preserves, however.

He would lay in bed (when he was old and infirm) and watch her with a big grin on his face. He liked the perkiness and the food that seemed to effortlessly flow out in "easy 30 min" and was that kind of hearty American and Italian food he loved.

We'd protest "Dad! It's not 30 minutes! You have to shop, clean up, put the food away, do the dishes and she has STAFF for that!" but he loved the "fantasy."

I get Rachael's magazine but I don't prefer it--too heavy foods and combos I don't find please me--but I love the pots I was gifted with (in orange) like the TSV but enamel and the Paisley Dinnerware. I got those as a gift and I just love using them. Almost nice enough for "good china" but work every day.

Campion: I love the story about your Dad. My parents used to enjoy watching her too. We are from Upstate New York so they would always say "Oh, that's the girl from around here who made good."

I enjoyed Rachel long ago, but whatever has changed her personality since then (marriage ?, "success" ? Having her own show?) I do not like. She is her original self on steroids and the 'tude to go with it. She's just annoying to me now, and I've lost interest in her and her you-can-buy-this-stuff-anywhere products.

I was going to say something like this. Over the years she is louder and bolder and more annoying to watch. I rarely turn the show on anymore. She just has to be the biggest voice on her show. Maybe some like it but it's not for me.

Also, in her magazine someone always photo shops her size down a few pounds and trims her face. She isn't that tiny. I loathe that type of lying. You are what you are, own it.

I'm tired of her recipes of stoups and sammies.

The pots & pans Rachael was selling yesterday were, supposedly, sold out except for the green. Well I checked and they are ALL still available. Not a good way to get a sale. Her sales pitch was over the top. Couldn't watch.

All her pieces are on sale for so much less all over the place. The S/H was too high too. IMO!

Lets see now, It is OK for you people to say Rachel has a superiority attitude, she is on steroid's, she is on speed, she is not tiny, and insinuate that she is on drugs.

BUT when I mention anything about hair, clothes and actions of a certain show host, I get blasted with hate remarks. What exactly is the difference here except that certain people watch for me so they can come back at me.

Rachel is beautiful and full of life!

Don't worry, be Happy!

buy and give to soup kitchen comment................I'm not a RR fan but just to keep the facts straight - RR said, buy this and give your OLD pots/pan to a soup kitchen - they would really appreciate it. (and I agree with her)

I gave my big turkey roaster to the Mission - they cook about 500 turkeys for Thanksgiving. I liked her suggestion.

Just to be fair, I was watching when the "Sold Out" sign went up, so no, that wasn't a sales pitch, there were selling quickly. They are back in stock today at a higher price, yes. Who knows why they are back in stock so fast, maybe cancellations, but I watched as each color, including the green, sold out during that show,.

lizzief, I agree, it may have been people changing their minds, and QVC really has no way to be 100% certain if any item has sold out - considering the fact that they are mainly counting the phone calls, not the text purchases or online purchases that are still in progress... I would think it's impossible to know for sure during the show. And to make it sound like that is part of Rachel's sales pitch is unfair... I'm sure Rachel has nothing to do with someone up in a control booth or wherever telling Jane in her ear that something has sold out.

And Rachel has done nothing to make me lose respect for her... she's a very hardworking woman who came up and made it the hard way and I, for one, admire and respect that. Maybe what she produces is not for everyone, and maybe she's not for everyone... that's life. So if you don't like her, as I said before, no one is forcing you to watch. But as on other threads, some people just can't seem to give an honest opinion, they have to hurl insults. How can anyone be seen as credible in their insulting remarks when they profess to NEVER watch her? That's just plain... well, you know. {#emotions_dlg.thumbdown}

Hi! I said that. You make a great point. Hyberbole is right on target.
