I watched the show off and on and did not see anything like the things people are saying.
I did notice that she has gained weight, is she expecting? She looks good just fuller.

I respect people's different opinions, but it never ceases to amaze me that people watch shows/hosts/vendors that they say they can't stand. The only reason I can think of that they would put themselves through all that "torture" is so they can come here and criticize. Or they say they "never" watch a particular person or show, but they still come here and know so much about how the person was acting on the show. Wow, that must be some trick to be able to do that! Must be psychic...
If I don't like something, I don't watch it. No one is being forced to watch Rachel.

Rachael taught me how to cook over a decade ago. When I say that, I mean the basics...especially cooking for one and in a quick manner. She is an inspiration for many. I caught a bit of her show tonight. To the OP, I didn't feel like she was over the top. She is who she is. I do own one of her other cookware sets from a previous TSV and it is great. I would recommend it.
For the poster criticizing her recipes, you must remember that on her shows she has a lot of ingredients right at her fingertips. Yes, some of her 30-minute recipes actually take 45-min. Once you get them down they flow much quicker...just like any other recipe you may know by heart.
Folks in this forum really need to stop being so critical. I am mostly a reader for information and reviews but occasionally post. It really bums me when I see these negative and childish rants.

I enjoyed Rachel long ago, but whatever has changed her personality since then (marriage ?, "success" ? Having her own show?) I do not like. She is her original self on steroids and the 'tude to go with it. She's just annoying to me now, and I've lost interest in her and her you-can-buy-this-stuff-anywhere products.
I so agree with what you said. Annoying is the word for me. I watched a little but the shouting and the hand waving finally got to me.

Or to read posts saying they can't stand to watch her. . .

Sorry, but that's not what she said. The caller said she was moving to NC, and her husband told her since she wanted new pots to go ahead buy them, and she mentioned what was she going to do with her old ones. Rachel told her to give those to the local soup kitchen, she didn't say to buy the new ones for the soup kitchen. I thought that was a great suggestion.
Your`re right that`s not what she said. I just watched the clip and it was Jane that said she was going to get the TS and give her old set to the local soup kitchen. I must have been half listening. I don`t know about her local soup kitchen but ours uses large industrial grade cookware, the kind that be thoroughly scrubbed.

She said she was hoarse from being at a concert. Rachel did a sell on those silicon lids that was like a comedy routine and I just was in awe. She is really good at selling her products and is very enjoyable.
