I want everyone to know that I had the TSV RR set tested for lead and it came out clean! I'm so happy that it's lead free!! It's such a beautiful set and I even used some of it last night. Clean up was a cinch!! ....but as I mentioned on another thread I got the cream colored set and I've read that reds, yellows and oranges tend to have higher levels of lead in the glazes. I still think those colors should be fine because I also had some sets of Temptations that are red and yellow tested come out lead free as well.
Just so you don't think that every time we test for lead, everything comes out lead free...DH tested an older teapot that was shown to have slight levels of lead and some cooking grates used on our gas grill that was shown to have very high levels of lead!! Now we have to rethink using those grates.
