Quinoa Question

Wondering if any of you have frozen quinoa, and is the texture/taste still okay when you thaw it out? I made some today with cooked chicken, raw broccoli and some cherry tomatoes, but it made a huge portion. I know I can freeze it, just curious if it will taste any good once its thawed out, or if freezing it will ruin it. TIA
