About a year ago, I bought our daughter a Phillips Air Fryer, an HSN special for $99. The same model carried by Williams-Sonoma. We loved it, but then, someone who will remain anon knocked it off the cart and broke the base.
I want to replace it, but the price has gone up so high! Just under $300 for the top Phillips model.
Is it worth it to get the top model?
Any suggestions on which other model to get, or is there another brand that's just as good?

I think I saw a Phillips on amazon for 159 and maybe Costco has one too...not sure

I got the small one from the other shopping channel for $159; at the time free ship. LOVE it. I did a lot of research first and definitely recommend a Phillips. Costco had a larger one, but I no longer see it there.

Hi @dex
Thanks, my problem is I don't know the difference between models. I think the more expensive ones have a larger basket. One of us at home will have to make a trip to Williams-Sonoma to compare and contrast, I think.

There are a bunch of utube tutorials using the fryers too..in case you want to check. Also read the negative reviews on the models. That usually helps me make a decision.

Good idea @dex, I didn't realize there were youtube reviews, that will be a big help!

Noel, Williams Sonoma is running a sale today only on the Turbo Star model which is the one I have. $199.95. I don't think you'll find it for less unless someone ran a sale and you had an additional coupon. It works fine for the two of us, if I needed to cook for three I'd use the additional shelf gadget. It will hold 4 very large chicken thighs (bone in) but you could add more without using the extra shelf and simply move them around during the cooking process.
Another thing to do is watch Amazon for warehouse deals on a "like new" fryer. My experienes with "like new" is the box is damaged, the item is perfect.

Go to their website and get the big one on sale for 150 I think it is. free shp, but, have to pay tax.
Check HSN, also, no shp, no tax, and they usually have a code of 20% off
where I bought my Philips grill and they're not cheap.
Kohl's has the NuWave 6 qt air fryer (where I bought mine) don't get the small one the drawer sticks and you can't pull it out and in. I read the reviews everybody hates the 3 qt.
Should have them in the stores, no shp. Watch their ads that come out almost everyday. I got mine 20% off and 10 bucks off got it for like 110 think it was. Love it ! Put whole chicken in.
Also, try Bed and Bath & Beyond.
