Question for all my cooking buddies

If a recipe calls for creme fraiche and you don't have any on hand, what can you use as a substitute?

I have plenty of sour cream. Thought I might try that. Hubby and I really love Bucatini pasta and I have some leftover rotissere chicken and mushrooms.
