Well, there are a lot of models.   Pretty sure there is something for everybody.    

I would not want to be without a vacuum sealer.

I agree! Even though I probably only use my FoodSaver a few times per month, it is truly a money saver and really helps to preserve my frozen goods.

Isn't it the greatest!   I've pulled foods out of my freezer, that were vac-sealed, and they were like new after even a few years.   Nothing else, as far as food storage, comes close.

I even have packets of brown rice and wild rice that I've had in there for at least a few years and, of course, something like that will probably stay good forever.  I have packets of almonds and different seeds - same deal - they stay good forever.

I still have some of those croissants that I got here, that are flat when you get them.  I vac-sealed them in twosies.   I started using some of them recently.  They are 5-6 years old.  Just like new!

I'm sure I can't live without mine.  I've had one for almost 30 years.    I do jars more than bags, but use it daily.
