That's a great deal!  I got the striped ones on sale at Target last year, and I love them.  They aren't the same as the old Pyrex bowls - shape is different and they are lighter.  I like them a lot better than my clear glass Pyrex bowls because they are easier to handle.  I use them every day!

They're crazy expensive in thrift stores!  I can't believe it!  I saw a set I gave to one of the kids who works for me selling for $50!  Bowls???  Wow!

You see them by the handfuls now at the Flea shows.

I just ordered Curtis Stone 2.5 sauce pan from Hsn hope it gets out before the hurricane.  Everything old is new again. I collect aluminum measuring cups. My favorites. Got 'em from Etsy and antique/junk shops.

don't like those big cups of plastic and glass . They're small and

sturdy and I like retro kitchen stuff.

I love Curtis Stones cookware.  Just started with it a few months ago.  Clean up is a breeze and they seem so well-made.   Re: Pyrex--I have several pieces stored away since I got TT.  My Pyrex are from the late 60's.  I figure if TT is really proven to be unsafe, I'll bring out my Pyrex again.  Nice to see those "old" styles coming back.  Mine are mosly in the turquoise and I do have a set of mixing bowls that are white w/pink.

Discovered recently how great Pyrex glass works for baking meatloaf. It doesn't stick like metal and is easy to drain and clean

Oh, rats.  I gave away my old glass pyrex meatloaf-shaped dish years ago.  After what you just said, I want it back!

Some of the old stand-bys in cookware are probably much  better than the new stuff being plugged everywhere today.  I have lots of other Pyrex items and do use them often.
