Re: Putting Instant Pot up for adoption

I keep telling you guys sometimes I don't know which end is up.

OK so my family got together for my birthday Saturday.

My girls were laughing as they told the story of how when we (my three daughters as young girls) would go into a shop with lots of breakable...would..

Stand at the entrance and say, "Mom, please don't pick up anything".

Errr....I've been known to ummm...break a few things...

Yep!  I've never been bored because I tend to look at everything kinda ******-eyed.

Anyone that does something with me will have a good time even if it's just laughing at some of the dufus stuff I do.😉

Love the IP for certain dishes (corn chowder, red lentil chili, perfect potatoes/rice in minutes),,,,I use my vita mix almost daily.  A standing electric mixer is something I've never owned and I don't know what I would do with it.  I guess it depends on your life style/diet.

@fthunt  I hear you! I've been donating a lot of Home Dec; but

DH loves ribs. IP makes the best ribs. I use the WP crisper lid to finish the ribs  Just for that I have to keep it.

@phoenixbrd , I've had my KA. stand mixer since the early 80's. I used it all of the time, because I baked a lot and you can whip up big batches of cookies and it is great for making cheesecake. Now .I rarely bake and the darn thing is so heavy, if I can't use the hand mixer , then I don't bake.

I could live happily ever after without my VitaMix but love my pressure cooker.  Just finished hardboiling a dozen eggs in 5 minutes.   They'll slip perfectly out of their shells.

Or you could just buy that egg cooker the Q used to sell. No weight to it,plug it in, 6 eggs done in 10mins, lol.
