It's the little things that can make my day!  I just realized that my new oven has a 'proof' setting to use for proofing dough.  Just in time for my Easter bread baking Smiley Happy

Has anyone used this setting?

My range has double ovens with many options, most that I never use, but it doesn't have a proof setting.

I set my dough on the glass stove top in a covered bowl usually while the oven below is still warm.

 I know I would use the proof selection.  Enjoy your oven.

@Carmie I got all new appliances  (first time they all match!)  and they have so many settings that I'll never use!  That's why I was so excited when I saw this one.

@Knit-Chick Yes we use ours often.  We set it at 100 degrees, let it warm up then turn it off and put the bread in.  If we leave it on it gets to hot and the bread proofs too quick and gets puffy.

I used this setting once. My bread rose too fast. So I just let my bread rise the old way.

Ours also has the proof setting. It comes on at 95°. DH is using it right now making rolls.

It also has air fry, dehydrate, convection, sabbath mode & more.

DH used to set stuff on a heating pad to rise.

@shoesnbags

This is what it says in the owners manual.

Sabbath mode meets the requirements for certain religious laws for holidays & days of rest. Based on Kosher Certification requirements.
