Price of Pumpkin Puree

I bought a few large cans today and I swear the price was a lot lower last year. I only started cooking with the purée for soup and was hooked instantly. Am I imagining? I thought it was under 2.00 for a large can at a supermarket. I paid 7.60 for a 3 pack at BJs.
