$200 for a toaster we paid less than that for our Airfryer/Broiler/Toaster combo

Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start being positive what could go right.

I bought a black & decker toaster 20 years ago and it is still going strong.  Paid 15.00 for it too.  Waste of money for that one..for sure.  To each their own though.  Happy toasting!!!

There is a store in a resort town nearby that sell all of the Smeg small appliances. I always swoon looking over their display. If I needed an appliance I wouldn't think twice about buying one from this brand. I don't mind spending more when I know I'll use it and I like it. Done.

A few years ago I bought the Kitchen-Aid toaster that QVC...

A few years ago I bought the Kitchen-Aid toaster that QVC was selling.   At that time it was selling for $99.00.    I remember Jill Bauer saying that she had purchased it and never thought that she would spend that much for just a toaster.

I had to really think about spending that much money for such a small kitchen appliance but I was tired of constantly replacing the less expensive ones.    I'm sure it was at least 8 years ago and that toaster is used every day and is working great.

I'm happy I bought it but I could never spend $200.00 for one.    I realize though, for some people a toaster in that price range wouldn't be an extravagant purchase.

It all boils down to what we like and how we spend our discretionary income.

I don't understand why people spend a nickle on fishing equipment, NFL season tickets, beer, RV's, second houses, coolers, wine fridges, candles and a lot of other stuff that people blow big bucks on.  None of that appeals to me.  But to each one's own. But to me, that would be a total waste of money.
