I have  never had food delivered by QVC.  Do they notify you when it will come?  I work 12 hr. days and am not always home to receive delivery, and since it is food, I am afraid it will go bad before I reach home.

No, they do not notify you.  You would have to get the tracking number and check it.

@Mom in NY

Some of their foods are shipped w/dry ice.  According to the Q's site for meats....

"The dry ice used in the food products we offer usually lasts between 24 to 36 hours. Since we ship our products in 2 days, it is common for little or no dry ice to remain by the time you receive your package. However, your food will still be cold - ready to be put right in your freezer!"

Whatever foods you are interested in I would suggest that you read the "Description" section of the product to confirm how the product will be shipped.  Then read the reveiws.

Have you ever had pot stickers before?

@Mom in NY  I have had a number of food items delivered and yes, they send out a shipping confirmation with a tracking number.  If you click on that number in the morning you will see where the package is at that moment.  Depending on what time you leave in the morning, it might say "Out for Delivery".  So you would know.

The only item I personally won't order again are the Cheryl's cookies.  They seem to send it via SurePost and I am still waiting for a package that got in town on December 2, 2016.  QVC did refund the money though.

If you follow the tracking info on your order, you will know when it will be delivered.

Refrigerated food is shipped with dry ice.

I tried the pot stickers and did not like them at all.

Sign up at ups.com and receive email updates on shipments. I get notification when it is being delivered and a notification when delivered.

@Mom in NY, the pot stickers are shipped via UPS.  You should receive a notice from Q that they were shipped along with a tracking number.  They are shipped frozen in a styrofoam insulated box with dry ice.  Even if the dry ice is gone there should be no danger of the pot stickers thawing.

If you go to the UPS website and sign up for their My Choice program you can set your options to get emails and/or texts the day before delivery, the day of delivery and delivery confirmation.  The free service should more than meet your needs.

I have reordered the pot stickers several times, we love them for a quick and easy dinner. They have always arrived still frozen even if the dry ice has melted. Sometimes it hasn't even melted. I would take a chance on them, I haven't been let down yet. This is the only food item I purchase from the Q.
