I got it at Target (3 piece set I think) around Christmas for around $100 and I've only used it twice and both times I thought it was worth it. It is much easier than using the kind that clamps to a table and is pretty quick. I've made ravioli with it. I want to try spaghetti or fettuccine.

K305563, I THINK IT IS, THE GOURMET PASTA PRESS THAT MAKES MACARONI, ETC. I THINK YOU HAVE SOMETHING ELSE, BUT THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY

karolm...I have had one for about 4 years, and...I love that thing. I also have the pasta roller that makes the sheets, spaghetti, etc. I love making fresh pasta, not that I  don't use dry in a pinch,. But if you like fresh pasta and like to spend a little time making it, I highly recommend it. Smiley Happy

When I bought it, I used it all the time then the fun was over and I haven't pulled it out of the box in years.  However, I bought the grinder attachment and have used that a lot, I grind up ham for ham salad, put chicken through it for chicken salad, raw meat for homemade italian sausage.

Isn't that true for all the "gadgets", bought the donut maker, quesadilla maker, panini press, little muffin maker, ice cream maker and who knows what else is sitting the shelves.

I finally got mine from the kids for Christmas last year. I love it! It's easy and the pasta really does taste better. I have a ton of allergies so it's great that I can have the pasta that I like becuase i know what's in it. It really doesn't take a ton of time to make. After a few tries you can really make a small batch or a large batch. It cooks up in no time at all.
