I am wanting a pot roast with vegetables, potatoes  not so much since I have been on WW, or stew beef with a beef wine broth!

I eat a well rounded diet, nothing is held back, maybe the trigger is it's just been months.

If you could get financing, you could buy and cook a nice big roast.  Maybe for the first chilly day of fall?

@ECBG We had a roast a couple of weeks and it was so good!  We cooked it in a Le Creuset pot in the oven with just a tiny bit of broth around it--and potatoes, onions and carrots.  I like the carrots best!

I like a roast cooked without a lot of liquid around it.  And this was a good one!  I stock up on them on sale and always have one or two in the freezer.

@ECBG @Sooner @Kachina624 , I just said to DH, time for a stew!  I will probably have one this weekend.  Love Fall and how we look forward to something different than chops and chicken breasts!  LM
