I can't believe the posters who dislike Sushi.  lol omg, sushi and sashimi are my life line. Of course you have to buy from reputable dealers. Sushi is not always raw fish. It is sweet rice with fillings like cucumber, crab, egg, avacado or what ever you want. Some is wrapped with sea weed on outside, some has sea weed on inside, eproce on outside. Now, sashimi...no way getting around that it is raw fish.  If fish is high quality, it does not taste fishy , I love it. That said. I am not a fan of raw ahi, tuna I woukd not recomend that to a beginner

@bmorechick - I could have written your post - except the part about your granddaughter. DD will drive an extra 30 minutes to get to Insomnia. I've never tried Crumbl, but I LOVE Insomnia!

I won't eat sushi or any of the raw meat dishes that chiefs prepare and everyone thinks are so great - like tartar, I think it's called??  I won't eat kimchi or a lot of those hot peppers or spices.  Eggs that are barely cooked and put on top of so many dishes.  Salmon - yuck - no way.

I don't mind tuna salad occasionally (once every 2 or 3 years) but other than that, I can't stand any and all seafood.  The smell alone makes me nauseous.  

Also Oreos.  I can't for the life of me figure out the obsession with these things.

In the office where I worked we had an accountant that would frequently bring in a pack of Oreos to share I couldn't understand the obsession he had with the cookies but apparently others liked them as well as they always went quickly, lol.
