The school where my daughter held Fall Festivals.  I've made banana nut bread in large and small sizes in those pans from the dollar store and wrapped them up in celaphane.  Other popular items were always: cupcakes, cookies, fudge, brownies, some people would make one large cake.

It's not Christmasy or a sweet treat but around here, homemade noodles go over REAL WELL!!!

Condensed and evaporated milk are the same thing. I think you are thinking of Eagle Brand milk which has sugar (makes the best fudge)in it. Regardless I see no bazaars coming up here in Michigan.

On another note: It has been years since Hubs and I ate anything at a pot luck type meal.
