Please Help Persuade Me To Use My Vitamix

I bought a Vitamix when it was a TSV and I think they've since come out with a model that's not as tall as mine. However, mine is too tall to fit under my kitchen cabinets and it got relegated to the basement soon after I got it. I cook from scratch most every day and really thought I would make good use of this machine, but it's just sitting there.

So many people claim to love theirs I'm thinking I just need to get it up here and start using it. Would those of you who own it and use it please share how you use yours?
