Pillsbury Purely Simple Cake Mixes

Has anyone tried these new mixes yet?  I note they are a little bigger in size (17 oz. I think) than the other boxed mixes.  They are on sale at Publix this week and I am anxious to try them.

I tried the white cake.  It was awful.  Extremely dry.

I saw these in the store just this morning but Betty C. was on sale for a $1.00 per box so I stuck with that.  I thought the Pillsbury was just new packaging.  I went and read up on them after seeing your thread and saw they are a cleaner type of product. 

Maybe they are too clean if they are dry.  Give my moist and day over clean eating.  I will eat clean with a carrot not cake.
