I've been vegetarian for 32 years, so we always use veggie hot dogs. I cut them in half widthwise, then split them almost in half lengthwise if I'm going to add a cheese slice. I wrap them in the crescent roll triangles and bake them. My favorite dipping sauce is cocktail sauce. Trader Joe's carries a particularly good version

Make them with cheese and bacon. Haven't had them in a while. DH asked for them last week, but I didn't feel like making them. Maybe after Christmas.

Thanks for all your suggestions, some I would have never even thought. I will put out several bowls with a little bit of everything so the quests can choose what they want. Merry Christmas girls.
