Re: Phillips Air Fryer Price Break

No one has convinced me I need one of these things and they look as though they take up a ton of room to store.  Ill pass.

I would be interested in an air fryer, but it does seem to take up a lot of space.  The price seems ridiculous also.  Guess I'll pass.

I think Evine has sold a cheaper version.

Re: Phillips Air Fryer Price Break

I have the one from Evine and I just love it.  I just reheated an egg roll in it and it came out nice and crispy.  It makes delicious chicken wings and I have even made toast in it.

I know it isn't for everybody as you cannot make a ton of food in it at one time but for someone like me that cooks for one I am very happy I bought it as I use it every day.

I believe the Phillip's one can hold more food and I think comes with more options.  If I were ever thinking of upgrading, I would definitely consider this version.

Re: Phillips Air Fryer Price Break

I own the Phillips air fryer and its the best kitchen appliance I have ever bought!! I use it almost every day. I also purchased one from evine because I figured I could use two fryers. Big mistake. Sent it back. Another thing , I have a very small kitchen in a cape cod house. It does NOT take up alot of space at all. The other one from evine sure did. You get what you pay for. Phillips is Number 1. Just look on Amazon!!!!

@Arley1210 I would ask what it was about the Evine fryer that was such a big mistake as I am very happy with mine.  I would be very interested in what it is that made you send it back as I have absolutely no complaints so far.

I completely agree that the Phillips fryer is quite possibly a better appliance but for the money (which is almost half of the Phillips version) I have no complaints whatsoever including counter space because from what I can see the Phillips fryer is a tad bit bigger (which would address many people's complaints about the Evine version being too small).

As I stated in a previous post when I go to upgrade from the Evine model I was looking to the Phillips fryer so your additional input would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks in advance for your reply.

Re: Phillips Air Fryer Price Break

It was the Todd English one. I loved the fact it was a bigger basket. Its too bad I had to send back but it would not shut off without pulling the plug!!! Hope this helps!!! Maybe it was just a lemon!!! lol

Re: Phillips Air Fryer Price Break

I  forgot to mention that the Phillips one I have is much smaller then the Todd English. Although I would not have minded the bigger one at all. Just a shut off problem.

Oh @Arley1210 thank you so much for this!  The airfryer I bought is their own Cook's Companion model which gets dinged in the reviews for being too small (but if you are cooking for one or two it's a good size).

I have to go check out Todd English's model as I have only seen the CC version.

I am so happy to hear you like the Philip's model . . . I have become a huge fan through YouTube video's of it and would like to purchase one in the future as it has features that would be a good fit for me.

Thanks for taking the time to reply as I really appreciate hearing from folks that actually own and enjoy a given appliance!  Smiley Happy

eta:  I just checked and there is no reference to his air fryer . . . oh well, at least I know to steer clear of it!
