Housecat how did your crockpot pork roast turn out?

Mine in a 325 oven turned out very nicely.

Happy New year!

Re: O/T Calling Housecat.......

It was delicious!  I didn't have all the ingredients in the recipe, so I improvised, but it was fall-apart tender, which is how I like it.  We ate it with the cabbage the first night. The second night I put some in my tiny crock pot, along with bbque sauce and we had pulled pork and cole slaw sandwiches.  AND, I still have enough in the freezer to have sandwiches another night soon.

Thanks to everyone who posted recipes and suggestions.  I'm looking forward to trying it in my LC Dutch oven on a low temp, but I rarely have enough hours home in one stretch to keep an eye on it.  I don't mind leaving my crock pot going while I'm out, but I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving the oven on.  Do you?

*************************************Never leave your oven on when you're not home.  It's just not worth it.

My roast got done in 3 1/2 hours.  I cook longer time items when I'm home for the afternoon.
