Noticed it's on clearance, $5 lower than when it was TSV.

I would like to get another one except for two things.

Afraid I'd get a returned defective one.

Waiting to see if they're going to update it with improvements.

Just thought I'd put the info out there for those who missed the demonstration today.

Also noticed on demo the countdown lighted numbers were flashing. Mine doesn't do that. Just wondering if the demo models were defective products.

Guess you are talking about the Cooks Essential one. I really like mine, just steamed some potstickers in mine. I balled up some foil and put it in the bottom so water would not touch potstickers. Worked great. My timer light does not blink either. Since there were a lot of complaints about this cooker am wondering if they will work on improvements for next year.

I love my Perfect Cooker and just talked to Customer Service as I just ordered another one. I just purchased one to give to my 81 year old brother next week. He is more like a 60 year old and very active. It dropped the price since I ordered last week so I called QVC Customer Service and asked about refunding the difference. They did very graciously also. I got $8.86 refunded to my credit card. I felt very good about what they did. I would not have complained if they didn't do it but sure appreciated them doing so.

This is one of the best items besides my Air Fryer I have purchased and use it all the time. Now I have my Wolfgang Puck Pressure Cooker Oven so I think I am set for now. Or am I?  Ha!

From what I undrstand, defective merchandise which is sent back to Q does not get re-sent to other customers as "new".

Now if somehting is sent back because the color wasnt what they thought, or it was too big for their kitchen, etc..THAT might be re-sent out...

Re: Perfect Cooker

[ Edited ]

I was shocked that when the Oven came my husband thought it was well built and liked it. I hate starting my big Oven for just a few things. I love my air fryer but it isn't big enough for a square pan to go into. I have tried all the settings to be sure it heated and shut off correctly. I just haven't tried the Pressure Cooker part yet. It takes up very little counter space and it holds a 12" pizza. It has a nice interior light also. Unless the timer is tuned on it doesn't run so that is a nice safety feature. When you put the Pressure Cooker handle down to lock it really locks the door super tight. After you release the door slide back up to the top you still have to push a button to open it. It is very safe. Even if the door is shut normally you can not just pull the door open. You have to push the button and then open the door. When the door is shut to use as a regular Oven there will be a slight gap on part of it but Wolfgang stated this is normal to keep a constant heat when cooking. A lot of thought went into this. @Tigriss Yes this is about the Perfect Cooker which I love. Also we also post other kitchen items we wouldn't want to be without. The Oven was from HSN and Wolfgang Puck's new Pressure Cooker Oven. I was saying the Perfect Cooker, Emeril's Air Fryer and the Wolfgang Oven are now my three go to items. What kitchen items make your life easier? Smiley Happy

I'd love to have the air fryer, but it's just too big for my counter all the time. I'm afraid if I had to get it out every time I'd never use it.

Also the Perfect Cooker is much easier for me to clean.

Maybe someday I will break down & get the fryer. LOL
