Perfect Cooker and Skinny Mini

[ Edited ]

I made the meatloaf in the Perfect Cooker and the recipe called for 1 hour cook time. Since the recipe makes two (as you divide the meat mixture per recipe) I made the other one in the Skinny Mini I have.

The Perfect Cooker took 1 hour and was perfect. The Skinny Mini took 37 minutes and went to warm. That also was cooked perfectly but the pan made a brown crust on the bottom and was harder to takeout. The pan from the Perfect Cooker slid the meatloaf out. The pan from the Skinny Mini stuck but you are still able to get it out but not in one piece. The pan cleaned up after soaking it a few minutes. The brown on the bottom was good as it was not burnt. The Perfect Cooker did make the meatloaf softer and moister also.

I will keep both of these as the recipes are adaptable for both. I have been writing the times in the Perfect Cooker recipe book as I make the recipes. Just a heads up for sharing the recipes and the times in case anyone was wondering about doing the same thing.

Have a good weekend everyone. Smiley Happy

Re: Perfect Cooker and Skinny Mini

Though I am not formally writing down times, I find the skinny mini is much quicker than my (3 c) perfect cooker..P,us it's easier to "reset"... No waiting...
