I've been watching a lot of youtube videos from various chefs and I love seeing what they use in real life - cookware - bakeware - olive oil - how they are set up etc
I'm glad many use Calfiornia Olive Ranch since I use it too ever since ATK rated it
these are some that I have been snooping watching cuz I'm a fan and not a stalker lol
Bon Appetit Test Kitchen
Alton Brown
Rachel Ray
Anna Olsen
What about you?

I love the Bon Appetit Test Kitchen staff. We're seeing them in their home kitchens now during the quarantine and it's surprising how many have a very minimal kitchen. Their Editor in Chief Adam Rapaport, the big boss, has a kitchen that's quite rustic with just porcelain bulb bases screwed into a wood ceiling for lighting. I'd more expect a crystal chandelier with high end lighting than that. He and Molly Baz just made chicken parm at the same time in their respective kitchens and I was really surprised at how rustic his kitchen was.

BA test kitchen are 1 of my favorites - such fun
what I noticed about watching all BA at home episodes
those that drink coffee - the majority use a pour over and not 1 used a french press
hmmm
I don't have either and was considering a french press since I do cold brew (heat it for hot) and that uses a lot of grounds - was conserving beans during quarantine
mamy use Staub ... make sme happy since I own 1 cast iron and it is a Staub
and Brad sure loves his copper and cast iron
I like Adam's home - maybe his country /summer home?
did you like his slide - nod to Risky Business?
funny and frightening...
Brad goes noodling - never heard of that before

Brad is pretty funny doing anything, but noodling with Matty may have been a couple of the funniest episodes. I loved him and Claire trying to make sourdough donuts. It only took them three episodes. "It's a disaster Claire!"
I was very surprised when I stumbled upon their programs, maybe six months ago? I used to subscribe to BA and always found it a bit stuffy. Chris Morocco is about the only somewhat stuffy BA show cast member, but even he lets down his guard from time to time.
Brad, Claire, and Molly are my favorites. Carla's good also. Sohla I'm liking but we haven't seen a lot of her yet. Priya's very interesting also. Andy is a bit blank to me. He's just there.
The in-home scavenger hunt they aired today was quite entertaining. I'm assuming that will continue until we have a single winner.

kina like a comedy show with the usual suspects
Chris - the straight arrow
Brad - the cut up
Andy - the hot one (according to a lot of comments)
Claire - studious (she doesn't give up - even when it is a disaster)
Molly - perky
of course I'm lwaving a lot out
I also used to think Food and Wine - Epicurious - Bon Appetit were those magazine that I wouldn't read - I still don't but BA Kitchen is 👍👍👍👍👍
haven't watch the latest epiosde - something to look forard to

You'll enjoy the new show. They paired two of the hosts against one another in the scavenger hunt. Half were eliminated, so I'm guessing the winners will compete head to head next. They mostly had to find kitchen stuff, but some odd stuff thrown in also.
