@Jo1313-  If you have a Kroger grocery store near you, try kroger ultra absorbent paper towels.  Make sure you get the ultra They come in the select a sheet size and are very absorbent and on sale reasonably priced.  I just bought a 6 roll equals 12 roll pkg. for $5.49 on sale.

I used to use Viva paper towels when they had the strawberry print. They were so cute and came in individual rolls. I now use Bounty (after Viva stopped making strawberry pattern years ago). I like Viva better, but Bounty rips off the paper towel holder easier. The price for Bounty in the last few years has increased dramatically.

Anyone remember the cute pencil drawing of miss playing that used to be on paper towels? I found them so happy to have in the kitchen. They had cute Halloween ones, too, but I don't remember the specific patterns.

I would like Dixie to make Fall and Christmas print coffee to-go cups again. It was so fun to make a coffee or hot chocolate and take them in the car. Or use them when having company. People prefer the to-go cups to a real mug.

I won't be without paper towels.  There are some greasy kitchen messes that I would be reluctant to gunk up the washing machine if I were to use dish rags and such.  Then I have to add the cost of water and electricity to the mix.  Although I haven't done a comparison study, I would venture to say in the end, cheaper to use paper towels, more efficient and convenient.

Been forgoing the use of paper towels.  Too expensive and wasteful.  Been using old towels and cloths for cleaning.  My favorite are the Swedish dish cloths from Amazon.  They wash great in hot water with bleach and are ready to go again.  Inexpensive and they are a gift that keeps on giving.

@ncmama Are you concerned about plastics?  Like body wash and other things we don't need to use in plastics?  Makeup we don't need cased in plastic, packing in plastics we don't need?

I understand paper, but so often we overlook things that could easily be used--like a bar of soap instead of bottled body wash

It was always Bounty paper towels for me until I purchased my first package of Costco's Kirkland brand paper towels....never went back!  To me these are the best paper towels.

@haddon9   Agree.  Costco's Kirkland paper towels are the best.  Have them in all the bathrooms and kitchen.   Most sanitary.

@luvzchiz & @haddon9 and the Costco half sheets are bigger than the rest and the roll is bigger.  We bought them for the first time not long ago and I'm not going back to any other brand.  Same for Kirkland brand TP.  We cart/people watch while we are having our snack when we are done shopping and now we know why every cart has the case of paper towels and toilet paper!
