@Jo1313- If you have a Kroger grocery store near you, try kroger ultra absorbent paper towels. Make sure you get the ultra They come in the select a sheet size and are very absorbent and on sale reasonably priced. I just bought a 6 roll equals 12 roll pkg. for $5.49 on sale.

I live in the north east..No Kroger here..I may have to resort to poking a hole in different pkgs. and give them a feel..Only kidding..LOL

I won't be without paper towels. There are some greasy kitchen messes that I would be reluctant to gunk up the washing machine if I were to use dish rags and such. Then I have to add the cost of water and electricity to the mix. Although I haven't done a comparison study, I would venture to say in the end, cheaper to use paper towels, more efficient and convenient.

They wash great in hot water with bleach and are ready to go again. Inexpensive and they are a gift that keeps on giving.
@ncmama Are you concerned about plastics? Like body wash and other things we don't need to use in plastics? Makeup we don't need cased in plastic, packing in plastics we don't need?
I understand paper, but so often we overlook things that could easily be used--like a bar of soap instead of bottled body wash

@haddon9 Agree. Costco's Kirkland paper towels are the best. Have them in all the bathrooms and kitchen. Most sanitary.
@luvzchiz & @haddon9 and the Costco half sheets are bigger than the rest and the roll is bigger. We bought them for the first time not long ago and I'm not going back to any other brand. Same for Kirkland brand TP. We cart/people watch while we are having our snack when we are done shopping and now we know why every cart has the case of paper towels and toilet paper!
