Paper Towel holder for kitchen

Have you shopped for one lately?  Good grief, they are expensive, several varieties that does not get good reviews.

I have 2 places in my kitchen that I could put them.  I want a vertical wall mount.  Spent the better part of an hour trying to find something that does not cost a small fortune or got good reviews on Amazon.  IMO $20 to $40 for a paper towel holder is ridiculous.

Taking a break from shopping for them before I go cross eyed.   lolWoman Frustrated

@Imaoldhippie when I just did a google search:

Paper Towel Holder Vertical Wall Mount

I see at least 10 that are under $15. One in particular is  63% off on clearance at Walmart.com. $5.97 ( plus $4.99 shipping). This includes when I did a separate search on Amazon, many under 15.00, mostly between 9-11

IMG_3251.jpegI have paper towels in many area of my home....the garage, kitchen, laundry.

I have these types of holders.  You can under mount them, or mount them vertically.  I don't think they are too expensive.  Of course, you can always get expensive ones, if you wish. they are out there.

@Carmie ..............Those are some of the ones I looked at on Amazon.  I read their bad reviews and it was much of the same complaint.  Cheap did not last, or broke after a short time and cheap material or the adhesive did not last.

Have yours lasted and worked for you?  I really liked the first one.

Thank you for posting these I appreciate it.

I don't know if I have the same brands as those I posted, but I have the same styles.  They lasted fine.  My newest one that is like the first one posted, was purchased in 2011...for our summer place and it is fine.

Mine are attached with screws, not adhesive.  I can't imagine any adhesive lasting very long with the constant pressure of someone pulling on it.

Re: Paper Towel holder for kitchen

I just leave my paper towels sitting upright on the counter with no holder. If there's a mess somewhere, I just grab the whole roll and head off with it. When I've used a holder, I either end up taking too many or not enough, so I would take the roll out of the holder and take it with me. This eliminates having to take it out of the holder. They're just there when I need them.

Me too, I have not used and actual holder in decades.

I use the towel holders that sit upright on the counter for the same reason.  Just grab it and take it wherever the mess is. I assume there's some reason OP wants hers attached to the wall.
