I am looking for a 10" nonstick interior everyday pan with lid and a 2 1/2 quart nonstick sauce pot with lid. Suggestions?

@dianegal

Welcome to the boards!

I own this and I really like it.  It's 9.5 inches though-

Image for 2 1/2 QT. Shallow Braiser with Glass Lid from Le Creuset

For preparing smaller portions of chicken or fish, or for serving a one-pan meal at the table, the forged hard-anodized 2 1/2 qt. shallow braiser is a convenient, easy-to-clean solution, with generously sized handles for comfortable carrying and hassle-free access at a busy table. The shallow braiser locks in moisture for slow cooking, but is also capable of oven roasting and deep frying with its reinforced nonstick coating.

Features

  • Generously-sized assist handles provide comfort and confidence when lifting or transferring
  • Hot-forging manufacturing process ensures pans will never warp
  • Induction-compatible magnetic stainless steel base ensures superior performance on any cooktop
  • Pans are oven-safe up to 500ºF (tempered glass lids are oven-safe up to 325ºF)
  • Handles feature stainless steel rivets for durability
  • Nonstick coating is reinforced and safe for dishwashers

Currently, I'm swearing by anything with the white ceramic interior.  I just happened to find in Big Lots no less a set of two that compliment my other array of mixed pots & pans.  LOVE these 2 pans!  They're from Portugal and unfortunately I can't find this brand in the US anywhere.  Must have been a special buy for my local Big Lots (not unusal).  I got lucky on this find.

In any event, I'd still give a thumbs up for the white interior ceramic.  Way better that any coated other brand - which I also have had and no longer have.

I use this pan everyday by Caphalon. It's heavy weight nothing sticks I couldn't find the 10" this is 11.5" I believe.  I've had it over 4 years and it's still non stick and washes up great! Bought at either Macy's or Bed Bath and Beyond (I'm sure I used a coupon of some kind!)

I also have 2.5 covered sauce pot by Caphalon.  I picked it up at Kohls or Macy's on sale. I've been slowly rebuilding my cookware with open stock pieces.

I don't have any specific recommendations, but I do like buying single pieces of cookware.  I recently bought a 3 qt. Belgique anodized nonstick pot w/glass lid from Macy's for $20.  They often have single pans on sale for very little money.

I like to shop for pots/pans at Marshall's, TJ Maxx and Home Goods. Have you checked through QVC's online inventory?   I like being able to hold the item in my hand to see how heavy/comfortable it is.   I think the 2.5 qt you mentioned will be hard to find.  I've never heard of that size.

I actually own a 2.5 qt. Calphalon that I purchased at Macy's years ago and finally needs replaced. It's a really nice size for 2 people.

Thanks. I too like Calphalon. Guess I'm off to Bed, Bath & Beyond and Macy's.

Hi Diane,

I have and would go back to a Calphalon "sauce pot."

For an every day 10" nonstick interior, try checking out chicken fryers.  I got my 10" Calphalon on a really good sale at Tuesday Morning.  Of couse, you never know what you're going to find there. Also found some Italian ceramic interior pots there at a super deal.  Best deal there was a Calphalon $129 roasting pan with rack which I got for $39.00.  Woo-Hoo!

Good luck!

I have this pan in a burnt red color with glass lid, 12", by another manufacturer, which skips my mind at present (looks like a twin to yours) .  I don't know what I'd do without this pan! I use it all the time for dinner.  LOVE IT!

Hopefully you'll see this in time -

Today (Tues) on Amazon Lightening Deals there is a 2.5qt Calphalon Contemporary 2.5qt shallow saucepan (with lid of course) coming up at 11:30am Pacific Time.

ETA - Oops, 11:30 if you have Prime so it might be noon if you don't.

I've not purchased anything from their Contemporary line but I have several pieces from Calphalon's Unison line and they are extremely nice - hard anodized with nonstick.
