@Desertdi   Looks delicious!  Love spinach in pasta!

p.s.   I added a few tablespoons of Pesto to the ricotta cheese mixture.  It not only adds another level of delicious flavor but it's also a little festive (color) for Christmas!

I hate to admit this...but with weeks and weeks of Christmas programming, I got "confused" about what day of the week it was...and slept all day yesterday.    Also woke up after midnight, and found a turkey TV dinner in the freezer and ate that...      di

@ciao_bella   I went with homemade pasta sauce with spaghetti and/or penne and homemade meatballs this year for Xmas dinner.  We had salad and bread too, but that olive bread sounds great!  I'm not good at lasagna.  It always falls apart.

my family loved the pasta idea!

I know one key to a stable lasagna is to let it rest for a good 20 min or so to cool down some  after baking before slicing in to it.

@ciao_bella im not an olive fan but if you made it, I'd eat it! Both items look like a magazine shot.

@ciao_bella

I love lasagna. Looks yummy! I love deviled eggs and cherries too. I would be happy to have that as my meal.

My family members want more traditional foods for Christmas like ham or turkey with various side dishes so that's what we have every year.

Hope you and your family have a Blessed Holiday Season!

Re: Our Christmas Lasagna and Olive Bread

What a wonderful meal you prepared @ciao_bella for Christmas dinner.  Looks delicious.  DS wanted spaghetti for Christmas Eve which is always a family favorite.  We did grill Tomahawk steaks and tenderloins for Christmas Day.  The bread looks so good.  Costco has loaves of rosemary and other types that are really good.  Glad you enjoyed.
